Use Lighter Flaps in WinterThe set of flaps which works fine in the spring, summer and fall can rob you of performance in the lower temperatures of winter. Here's why: In some parts of the country, the winter months mean quite cold weather. This affects the flexibility of the rubber flaps on your sweeper. As the temperatures go down, the willingness of the rubber to flex and so maximize the pickup of debris also decreases. To counteract this problem, try going to a flap made from a lighter weight of rubber. When you need flaps, don't hesitate to ask about the weight currently most suited for your area.
