Remove Packed Hopper Debris With Vibrator
From Frank Romeguera of Physical Plant Services for the University of New Orleans:Adding a 12 volt vibrator to the bottom of your hopper can be of real assistance in removing caked-on debris. I use a Vibco model DC-1600 on our Supervac 343 and have been very pleased with the results.
Editor's Note: Since we received this Tip, most sweeper manufacturers have started offering hopper vibrators as an option. If this has been a problem for you previously, ask your sweeper salesperson about the suitability of adding a vibrator for your next sweeper.
